  • System Alert Window (Overlay Permission): To display the timer overlay on top of other apps
  • Foreground Service: To keep the timer running in the background
  • Boot Receiver: To automatically start the service when your device restarts
  • Battery Optimization Exemption: To ensure consistent tracking (optional but recommended)

Data Security

  • All data remains on your device
  • No network transmission of personal usage data
  • App follows Android security best practices

Children’s Privacy

Awareen is safe for users of all ages. We do not collect personal information from children or any users. The app only tracks screen time locally on the device.

Data Deletion

To delete all data:

  1. Uninstall the Awareen app
  2. All locally stored data will be automatically removed
